Aspie Friendly offers innovative tools, services, and information for Aspies and those who care about them. We are also involved with a number of organizations, including working on a National Agenda to be presented to congress in 2010. Aspie Friendly is Aspie founded, Aspie run, and is an example of Aspie potential. We offer a line of tools, created with ''autistic logic'' to help parents and teachers of kids on the spectrum, as well as other practical products such as service animal clothing, worksheets for shcool use, and books for behavior management. Lorin Neikirk, founder of Aspie Friendly, also has an internet radio show on BlogTalkRadio. Upcoming shows will be announced and highlighted on AspieFriendly.org. Lorin Neikirk is also available for consultation in the Houston, TX area, as well as phone consultations nationally and internationally.
Aspie Friendly is a network for people on the autism spectrum, and specifically Aspergers. It is also for family, community members, and others who want to contribute to making this planet a friendlier place for those with Aspergers and other autism spectrum disorders. The world can be a pretty scary place for individuals with Aspergers... Aspie Friendly wants to make it safer for people on the spectrum.
From babies to school-agers... Teens and young adults to spouses and mid-lifers... Aspies are a unique group with a lot to offer, but some very specific challenges to get that done. Creating a culture accepting of those with Aspergers/autism means opening the door to a huge reserve of untapped potential, to an extent that the world has yet to realize.
Our clients regularly say ''I just KNEW there was something else out there!'' but they never knew how to define it or exactly what it was that they were looking for, but they have found it in us.
